1) Qualification and Certification Requirement
a) BSc degree certificate of petroleum engineering or higher;
b) Engineer certificate and registry by the recognized authority;
c) Valid International well control training certificate (IADC or IWCF) at Supervisor level, prefer IWCF;
d) Valid"H2S" training certificate;
e) Valid physical health certificate (persons with disease such as cardiopathy, yspnea, HIV, Hepatitis B and other communicable diseases, etc., are unacceptable);
f) Age should be no more than 50 years old.
2) Working Experience Requirement
a) Minimum10 years engaging in Completion and workover activities.
b) Minimum5 Years of working experience on the position of Completion and Workover Technical Engineer (preparations the programs for Completion the horizontal wells/highly deviated/vertical, conventional workover, ESP installation wells, sand control wells, and water injection wells, well intervention operations,…etc.).
c) Minimum3 years of working experience with International Oil Companies.
d) It is superior for the working experience as Completion and Workover Technical Engineer in oilfields with similar reservoir as Iraq Oilfields.
3) Skill Requirement
a) Strong team player and experience of managing contractors.
b) Aptitude to innovate and be open to new ideas.
c) Well knowing technology of Completion, Workover, Acidizing & Flowback, Wireline& Slickline Operation, Water Injection, and Acid Fracturing, Sand Management, Horizontal Well and ESP Installation Well, Oilfield Chemistry, Tubing Design including movement calculations, Basic Completion Fluids Technology, Basic Cementing Technology, Pore Pressure and Fracture Gradient Technology, Well Control Equipment and Procedures, Blowout Prevention Equipment and Testing, Tubular Goods Inspection, Completion and Workover Equipment Technology, Open hole and Cased Hole Logging..etc.
d) Familiar with the standards of API/ ISO standards, and other industrial and international practices.
e) Skillful in utilizing various Technical Data Manuals, User’s Manuals and other Data Information. Master at least One(1) international major oil company operation manual.
f) Skillful in preparing paper work in English, such as operation program, post-job report, ITT, PPT for presentation, meeting minutes, and official letter, etc.
g) Should have an experience of preparation the tendering technical documents for all different down hole operations, material and services.
h) Skillful in identifying major risk and taking effective precaution measures to control risk.
i) Fluent in oral and written English, able to have free communication with people and undertake all kinds of paper work in English.
j) Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office software, such as EXCEL, WORD, PPT and PROJECT, etc.
k) Excellent coordination skills with people.
4) Position Responsibility
a) Responsible for initiating operation programs, such as Completion Program, Workover and/or ESP Workover Program, Water Injection Workover, and Acid Fracturing Program, etc.
b) Responsible for the Completion and/or Workover Program which must include, but is not limited to the following:
- Application of standard operations procedures,
- Best practices and lessons learned,
- Progress time and cost ts for the Completion or Workover phase,
- Re-Completion program (well killing, tubing pulling, plug setting) for Workover,
- Tubing and down hole completion equipment to meet expected conditions and well integrity,
- Coiled Tubing applications, Stimulation program, Completions fluids program, Well testing program, Well evaluation program, Perforating program..etc.
- Chemical ion, optimization and Injection to treat with asphaltene precipitation, emulsion and scaling.
c) Responsible for reviewing well interventions operation programs, such as Stimulation Operation Program and Wireline &Slickline Operation Program.
d) Responsible for reviewing and/or initiating Final Post-Job Reports, such as Final Completion Report, Final Workover, ESP Workover& Water Injection Workover Report, Final Acidizing &Flowback Report, and Final Acid Fracturing Report, etc.
e) During Procurement process, Responsible forinitiating and reviewing the Technical specification and requirement of ITT on the Procurement Projects, inclusive of but not limited to:
ü Completion and Workover Tool and Material, such as Tubing Head and X-mas Tree, Tubing and Related Accessories, Perforated Pipes and Related Accessories, and Downhole Tools, etc.
ü Completion and workover Services, such as Well Completion Service with Drilling Rig; Rigless Services for Completion, Workover and Acidizing, ESP and Accessories Purchase and Services, Acid Fracturing Tool Purchase and Services, and Water Injection Tool Purchase and Service, etc.
ü Technical Research and Study aspect
f) Responsible for supporting Department site operations giving advice, instruction and problem solution when necessary.
g) Responsible for identifying lessons learned and area for continuous improvement in Department operations.
h) Responsible for preparing PPT and make presentation on technical subjects, such as program optimization, problem briefing and solution, new plan communication, and new technology application, etc.
i) Responsible for communication and liaison and preparing meeting minutes, official letters to Contractors, relative CompanyInternal Departments…, etc.
